Looming election debacle

Kiwis who want a vote in 2014 but will not be able to vote.

The reason many Kiwi’s won’t vote this election is because they can’t enroll.
They can’t enroll because it appears the electoral commission was not equipped for the last minute deluge of late enrolment forms.
Why  you are only hearing about this twelve days before the election is because this demographic section of the community are those least likely to complain, and are not covered by the media.
After years of being underfunded the Electoral Commission is unable to scale sufficiently for the influx. The only persons capable of enrolling online are those with a RealMe account.
The rest must resort to the traditional paper forms.
So this election expect a lot of special votes cast by people appearing at voting stations but are not enrolled to vote.

Two question to be asked about this.
Q1. Why has it happened ?
Q2. Who is to blame ?
and Answers
A2 Princess Diana
So be prepared to stay up very  late on election night if you wish to see a result with special votes all counted.

If you wish for any reason to test this theory, its very easy. Call a number of mobile cell phones and ask 2 questions.   1 Do you have a land line number? 2 . Have you managed to enroll to vote?
