International Bogeyman a necessity.
- If ISIS disappeared tomorrow we would have to start looking at real fears like North Korea, US Debt crisis, Global warming, and the looming Ebola epidemic
- The Wests War machine depends on some of it stocks of armaments being used on a regular basis. How else can various military contractors display, test and insist their hardware is necessary.
- ISIS is providing a good distraction for disenchanted Sunni youth from other countries such as Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Those countries in particular fear the youth coming home and creating similar mayhem in their birth places.
- With new technology, Western nations are needing to spy on their own citizens. Without ISIS existing there would not be a reasonable excuse as to why this is so.
- ISIS no longer needs subsidizing by the Saudis or USA, it is now financially independent and proceeding to pump its share of oil into the world economy.
- Not since the time of the Ottoman Empire has the Middle East had such unity, and that being their unity now against the ISIS forces. This allows the USA and Britain to concentrate their efforts for exploiting petroleum resources in the region with ease.
The West needs ISIS now far more than ISIS needs the West.
